“Revival never just happens….every revival could be traced back to anything from one to ten people starting to pray for revival. Throughout history, the multiplication of small prayer groups has proved to be the simplest and most effective strategy for saturating towns, cities and a nation with prayer.”

A Vision for PRAYER CIRCLES
Prayer Circles are a portable way of spreading a culture of intercession and prayer across the city.
Our hope is to see thousands of small, relational, and insurgent groups of friends praying anywhere and everywhere.
Prayer Circles enter into the holy discontent they feel about the state of their own lives and the world around them, and they create a place and time in their schedule to prioritize God’s presence and to contend for renewal.
Prayer Circles are small groups of 2-20 people…
…that meet regularly to pray for spiritual awakening in Kansas City. Together, they get in touch with the holy discontent in their hearts - the distance between the promises of God for their own hearts, and their city - and then enter into contending patterns to see Heaven break in. They can literally pray anywhere and pray everywhere.
Imagine:
A group of young moms strolling around Loose Park as they pray for one another and for spiritual awakening in Kansas City.
Executives gathering in a boardroom over lunch to pray for spiritual awakening in their industry.
Groups of friends gathering to pray for racial healing.
House Churches walking streets to pray and spread the Gospel in their neighborhoods.
Discipleship groups going through the Prayer Course together to learn how to pray.
Insurgent small groups gathering to pray against sex trafficking at truck stops.
High School kids meeting before school to pray for the hope of Heaven to break into their classrooms.
Families that turn the spare room into a prayer room to change the broken lineage of their family tree.
